VIRGEN DEL PILAR
pinturas sobre cartón piedra y sobre madera, según la escultura del S.XV ubicada en la Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, en Zaragoza.
Según la tradición, la Virgen se apareció al apóstol Santiago en ese lugar, cuando aún vivía en Jerusalén, dejando un pilar de jaspe como señal. Esta habría sido la primera aparición mariana.

According to tradition, the Virgin would have appeared to Santiago the Apostle in that place, when she was still alive in Jerusalem, leaving a jasper pillar as a sign. This would had been her first apparition.
