Según la tradición, María, quien vivía entonces en Jerusalén, fue trasladada por los ángeles y se apareció al apóstol Santiago, sobre un pilar, pidiéndole que erigiera ahí un lugar de oración. Su fiesta se celebra el 12 de Octubre.
According to tradition, Mary, while living in Jerusalem, was transferred by angels and appeared to the apostle James in what is now Zaragoza. She was standing on a pillar, and commanded him to erect there an oratory. Her feast day is celebrated on October 12.
