VIRGIN OF VLADIMIR

Painted after Andrei Rublev’s icon of the Theotokos of Vladimir, (14-15th century). The icon represents the Virgin of Tenderness or Eleusa. It shows the tender relationship between the Mother and the Child.
Acrylic paint on MDF board 30 x 35 x 1.5 cms. Finished with varnish.
